The fun keeps rolling with this month's free block as part of the Block Mania blog hop. Have you seen a lot of heart quilt patterns lately? Well here is another one for ya!
Heart Shine 4th block, it finishes at 6" and is foundation paper pieced. This block looks great inside your favorite classic block, like an Ohio star center, Bear Paw or Churn-dash quilt block pattern. Make this 6 inch block four times to create a 12 inch mini or keep it go in a block of the month series. This block also goes pretty well with the one we made last month too.

Download this free heart pattern, print at 100% onto your favorite foundation paper piecing paper, make 4 to create a 12" block or add this versatile 6" into a classic quilt block. There are two pieces to be sewn in this fpp pattern, sew both separately and the join A+B to make a 6" block. I like to mark with pencil on the printed pattern what colors I have chosen.
