My Strawberry Wild block pattern has been released by the Modern Quilt Guild (MQG) and I am thrilled to see this pattern out in the wild! To have a pattern selected by the MQG for their modern block studies series is a HUGE honor and I feel so lucky for the experience. I have learned so much by making a pattern with their team that I feel like I can't say thank you enough, words just don't catch how grateful I am.
I am hosting a Strawberry Jam block swap now with a few friends and it's been really fun to make these strawberry blocks to share! I decided to not send out emails to swap participants because I feel as if our email accounts are absolutely flooded right now with too much info, so instead I opted to pull out my typewriter and create cards for each person with the swap info. I found some golden envelopes in my stash and created some cute decals with my silhouette cameo to decorate the cards with. It has been really fun to see peoples delight when receiving a card in the mail! I also included the recipe for my strawberry rhubarb jam and I am sharing that recipe here with you too in case you also have a hankering for making some jam.
For the full pattern ya gotta go get at the MQG website. https://www.modernmonthly.com/
