Last month was the release of the Coalition of Uteri quilt pattern and this month I am offering 3 free zoom sessions to talk about making it together! Below is the zoom link, the sessions will be held on October 9th, October 16th, and October 23rd, from 6pm pacific standard time, to 7 pm. There hasn't been blockbuster sales of this uterus pattern, with less than 10 being bought last month, that's about what I was expecting. I have worked for a few years to create a modern uterus pattern and gotten a lot of feedback from friends and folks online that see it, not all of it was positive and that's okay because it helped to understand better how just talking about a uterus can be a hard subject for some. If there is even one person that wants to tune to these zoom classes to learn about making this pattern then I am there!
So here we are, this is a pattern I am really happy with and am looking forward to see it made in different ways all over the world. People are making this pattern for their own reasons such as; uterus cancer survivor, as way to work through their own fertility experience's, as a gift for birth workers and some are making the mini 6 inch uterus as a mug rug to swap with friends. We had a great group of pattern testers, eight people making this pattern, and all with gorgeous fabric selections and twists!
